Dig Up Your Wildest Dreams!

You’ve got God’s dynamite inside you. Explosive power. Ask for your wildest dreams to come true. Ask God to increase your imagination! Don’t fear or think negative thoughts about your dreams. God’s dynamite works within you.  Ephesians 3:20 OGV

What are your wildest dreams?

Are your expectations dead? Do you want to do something and others sneer? What did you want to do as a child? Are your dreams buried?

Dig them up!

In Ephesians 3, the Greek word used for power is the word from which we get “dynamite!” Some of our dreams have 10 feet of doubt over them or three feet of concrete encasing them. Blast off the fear!

Thank the Lord for His dynamite.

Fears, negative thoughts, and the comments of others can tamper dreams. Scripture seeks to expand our imagination beyond what we think:

  • What is your capability?
  • What is your ability – with time, talent, and treasure?

Multiply your imaginations, dreams, and visions by 10 and now you have God’s dynamite goals for you right now. Walk in God’s capability and not your own strength.

I have a motto – I don’t have to succeed, but I must try!

When God gives me a dream, my first reaction is fear. My fear says, “Let me list the reasons that you won’t succeed.” The list is usually long. Fear has many doubts to shroud my calling.

Right now, let’s blast it away. My life and yours!

In the Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25), a servant buried his talent and then explains his actions to his master:

I was afraid. You have high expectations. I knew you would be angry if I lost your talent. I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here is your talent. Just rub off the dirt and polish it a bit and it’s as good as new.

The master wasn’t happy. The master then took away the talent.

The old phrase “use it or lose it” applies to our talents. The implication of the Parable of the Talents is that we don’t have to fear – because God’s dynamite within us ensures our success.

What is buried in our lives?

It’s painful to stretch faith. Blowing up strongholds will destroy current pleasures, false passions, and saved-for possessions. But remember…

…Dynamite living blows up the hindrance to release His power.

Our wildest dreams are then fulfilled.
