Faith Warriors…

Let’s remember the three great promises in Philippians 4:7, 13, and 19 – Peace, Power, Provision. We are in a time when we really get to try out these promises by faith in our lives.

Before I go to bed each night I quote to myself Romans 8.28: “God works all things together for the good for those who are called according to His purposes.”

Speaking of God’s purposes and the why of this difficulty in our culture – let’s have wisdom. Obviously God allows trials but He always has His purposes that are for our good.

Brother Dick Johnson gave me a book a month ago entitled “Vessels of Fire & Glory” by Mario Murillo. It was written at the beginning of 2020 and the first paragraph is below.

Before a Great Awakening, there must be a rude awakening. The jolt the American Church needs is far greater than we know. We need a Godsend. Something outside us. Something so far beyond our imagination that we would be dumbfounded by its description.

Just a note about how Mario Murillo defines a “Godsend”. It is not a plague but an intercessor, a movement of the Spirit or of God’s people rising up in difficult moments. With this definition in mind Mario writes the following conclusions in the last two pages. I agree with him that the best is still to come.

We have entered a time of extravagant asking. It is time to ask God for the impossible and the unimaginable!

It’s not violation of the Scripture to believe that the last days still hold an unseen intervention.

I assure you that Satan is in for the fight of his life to take down America.

But I leave you with a final challenge. What if the best churches haven’t even been planted yet? What if the greatest sermons are yet to be preached? What if the best inventions, books, songs, and miracles are yet to come? I wouldn’t doubt it. God always saves the best for last.

I’m praying this week for:

  • A sovereign intervention with the Coronavirus that will obviously be supernatural
  • For the Grace of God with the church finances
  • For 500 viewers at our online service next week
  • For us to have peace!!!!! It’s supernatural. I asked this for all of you in my prayers this morning.
